If you are sitting actively watching trade chat for 15+ minutes at a time and then doing so again an hour later, then an hour after that, it is highly probable that you are not just looking for good deals but also trying to sell a few things yourself during that time. and therefore you might not be so different from these players that you mention repeating items in trade chat. maybe they too get on for 15 minutes at a time once an hour and their trade chat patterns simply align with the patterns of yourself.
