Attack speed vs physical damage

Hi there

I am doing a shadow build and i wanted to know what is better? attack speed or physical damage? Its crit flicker strike

Thanks
is it better to put ham or cheese into my sandwich?
...

having both (in case both are applicable) is always better than focusing on one, as they both multiply base damage

Depends on how much cheese and ham you already got, if you got little cheese you will notice the difference if you add more, but if you got a lot of cheese already but little ham you should stack more ham to improve the taste.

Wish the armchair developers would go back to developing armchairs.

If you plan on adding elemental effects from converted physical damage, such as freeze from hatred, or ignite from herald of ash, then you'd want to favor damage over speed. If you are afraid of reflect then go for speed over damage. But if you want maximum deeps then you have to look at what kind of weapon and attack you are using and find the right balance for whatever you're doing.
flicker virtually ignores attack speed, its just per hit damage you care about, so get phys damage.
I love all you people on the forums, we can disagree but still be friends and respect each other :)

this is partly true for flicker builds that one-shot all. But I really doubt OP has the resources for such build. And even for those attack speed still matters
