What is your honest opniion about Ultima Online compared to POE?

I loved Ultima Online, and it loved me. However, I love POE and it spurns my love, treating me with both disdain and a lack of respect that only a teenage girl oblivious to the emotional damage she is causing can possibly be capable of.
On the plus side though, Ultima Online will forever be remembered as "That Game Where Lord British Got Killed." When was the last time Chris publicly died in POE? == Officially Retired 27/02/2019 ==

before EA ruined it, UO was a great game!
now only if SC leagues will make all items drop on death like UO :P |

I subbed to UO for 9 years starting when it first came out.
When the Lake Austin shard opened I started fresh there and that's where I spent most of my time. I completely ignored the PvP side of the game the entire time. I liked PvE, T-maps and fishing to get loot that I would use to stock my vendors. I was also very big on crafting and filling bulk order deeds to sell off the rewards. Loved that game. Shout out to Nutty Professor and Grampa Willy wherever you may be. Lord Mort. |
