How many regrets do you think a full skilltree refund should cost?

Would be nice to have some sort of discount in the legacy leagues that are irrelevant anyway, for experimenting. But at the start of new leagues and in races build choices do matter and should matter.

It should cost 1 regret per point as intended. Anything less and you devalue the currency.
pretty obvious that you never took Marketing classes lol

lowering the cost of full respec would actually increase the usage of regret orb since people would see full respect as a more affordable alternative compare to restart a new char
ZiggyD is the Labyrinth of streamers, some like it, some dont, but GGG will make sure to push it down ur throat to make you like it

It's economics. Not marketing. And if GGG's intention was to maximize orbs usage, your argument can be applied to all the 'high' orbs in this game (chaos and above).
It will convert your forum titles into decorative square badges that use the space next to your forum posts more economically so that you can show off an unlimited number of them at any one time. - GGG, 2018 (https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/3573673)
I think one of the Masters should offer a discounted full respec at a cost of half of your character level (rounded up) in Regrets.

zero. One advantage of the trade game though is i dont really care even though system is retarded.

I just dumped 115 respec orbs into my shadow when i wanted to play something else. took 3 min to get orbs.

It doesnt lock you into "meaningful choices" or whatever stupid reason they have. it's just tedeous to go get the orbs and click click click click...

Also this thinly veiled QQ thread got BTFO, most people are apparently okay with the current system :)
GGG banning all political discussion shortly after getting acquired by China is a weird coincidence.

this entire respec system is artificial burden created to force non-traders into trading (no, 'finding' 100 regret orbs from mobs is not feasible way of getting respec points) and thus fuel the enonomeh

or make ot 1$ 'garena-style' mtx

all this rubbish about it being hardcore is there just to please some nolifers

if poe WAS to be hardcore and promote REAL choices - remove regret orbs altogether, keeping 18 respec from quests. this is hardcore. this promotes real choices with real consequences

but what we have now is an artificial 'difficult problem' with a solution conveniently close by

some call it hypocrisy. some fall for it.
It's fine the way it is. It only costs a few exalt to completely respec a high level character, well depending on ratio of whatever league ur in

Since the best way to get currency is by doing end game content, and the people who would need the most regret orbs are higher level people, it all lines up fine

If you are the type who doesn't map and does mid-low range stuff, then you wouldn't even need that many regret orbs in the first place
around 100 regrets at lvl 80.
