yes, it works now. Tested it with assassin's mark and got some powercharges while splashing mobpacks.
GGG must have changed it silently.

Only issue I have w/ using ball lightning is the travel speed. By the time the orb reaches my foes to curse them with my build, my main skill will already have killed them. But on a build that uses that skill I could totally see it.
