The 3% Increased Intelligence From Perandus Signet Ring

Fifth post in the thread.

I dunno, the way I am interpreting it is that they won't fix it anytime soon. And if they do, they will change the way the ring works to how this current bugged version works.

Meaning that flasks will be counted as well. Quite simple to understand.
No, I mean if they fix the bug so that flasks count as "uniques equipped". They will also change the ring's stats at the same time. Meaning the ring's description will no longer say "3% increased Intelligence for each Unique Item you have equipped".

From GGG's response, that is what I am getting when I read the thread.

Hmm... iirc there was some BoTW relying on movespeed, and it was using two unique low-lvl axes that give movespeed (don't remember name) in off-slots. Author said they actually did give movespeed boost even there. Was he wrong or maybe it is my mistake?

dunno havent seen it

but theyve tried to fix all possible cases where players were gaining benefits from items they didnt actually wear (aka snapshotting fix)

the increase does not work with backup weapons. It didn't increase when equipping unique forbidden taste flasks either. Swapping weapons changed my value.

Thanks! I appreciate it.

You're either:

1. Reading something completely different. Dunno how or why.

2. Imagining that he is saying more than "We intend to fix this bug/issue".

or

3. Trolling.

He very clearly states that it is a bug and will be fixed in the "long" term. GGG's definition of "long" is really, really long. Possibly talking in years or decades due to their backlog.

I really don't know how to clarify it more for you than what I've already said.
Believe what you want, but this is a balance issue as well as a bug issue. We are talking about increasing the power of the item by 50% from 10 items to 15 items.
If you think for a second that they intend to fix the bug without changing how it works, I don't know what else to say.

And thus, when I see the word long term, yeah, I get the feeling that they won't be fixing it anytime soon and if/when they do, you bet the item will also change.

Well the item changed in 2.0 but the bug still exists. Maybe they did this first in advance of the bug fix so that it doesn't look like they just offset the bug fix with an item need. Either way I hope it gets fixed soon.
