Melee Build?

I'm new in this game, I have a 25 clvl shadow. I want know what is the better build for a melee shadow whitch didn't much item-dependence. looks like dagger has much dps, but I like claw's life leech.

What's the weapon choice? DW or claw + shield?
use CI or non CI? ES or Armor? TYVM
