Online/Offline Trading "in-game"
UPDATE:
or without the off-line option (auto purchase), no BUY button. ![]() What do you mean that the league is not rewarding or fun? You put in 5 useless items in the device and you get 1 useless item... Oh wait!

We definitely need this. One of the major flaws of this game. What's the difference between this and poe.trade? Poe.trade was created because this game lacks a major feature that every other online game has, a proper trading system. We also need a mail system to send other people messages. It's hard to believe it's impossible to send offline messages in this game, let alone parcels.

" Not in the second version. No "BUY" buttons, only "Whisper" or "Invite to Party" So, it works exactly like poe.trade only have the price if the seller wants to set a price so people can see, like poe.trade What do you mean that the league is not rewarding or fun? You put in 5 useless items in the device and you get 1 useless item... Oh wait!

" Its OK. I'm not expecting for this to happen any time soon or ever. But it would be a major improvement on this game that has so much focus on trading. I bet that this change alone would help keep a good number of new players in the game. edit: Also i know a lot of people (like myself) that simply don't sell items because using other party websites and programs is not only 100% safe but is also too much work for a videogame. IMO what poe.trade offers should be in the game from the beginning. What do you mean that the league is not rewarding or fun? You put in 5 useless items in the device and you get 1 useless item... " If you all go with this type of asynchronous trading where the seller needs to respond to the buyer to finalize a transaction, then I'd like to make the request that GGG create a mobile app that will notify me when someone is interested in buying something. The biggest problem I have with trading currently is that I cannot immediately know someone wants to buy something when offline, nor can I actually perform the trade when unable to access the game. | |
I think auction house with buyout and minimum bid is an option. Just like the old D3 auction house. Bid should expire 2-3 days and it will automatically off the market.
If I go first, I'll wait for you in the other side of the dark water.

" I really don't agree with that system. No one wants to wait 2 or 3 days to be able to "buy or not" an item. What do you mean that the league is not rewarding or fun? You put in 5 useless items in the device and you get 1 useless item... Oh wait!

I am also in favor of some sort of in game sell/buy possibility. I see players argumenting that the economy gets ruined that way, but it is already possible to buy/sell everything outside the game, so in what way does an in game buy/sell possibility change that? Yes, it becomes a bit easier for the casual players that do not bother to go to sites outside the game to get their stuff. Is that a bad thing?
Already from the start of this game I think it is a major mistake form GGG to not implement some kind of buy/sell possibility. And before someone says that I want an auction house and that GGG will never implement an auction house...........no, I do not want an auction house.......I think of the good old days of Ultima Online, in which a player could place a merchant in front of his house and stack it with stuff to sell against a fixed price. That could also be done in POE. Create some kind of market map on which players can rent a booth to sell their stuff. In that way one can remember the position of a good store and come back once in a while. |
