Crafting Gloves

Hi everyone,

I am learning disabled. Not stupid, but a lot of this crafting stuff is not clicking. I have a couple items that I want to craft extremely specifically.

Two Gloves I want to Craft


I want the following:

1) Attack speed %
2) Resistance
3) Resistance
3) 2% life leech
4) + to max life
5) + to dexterity
6) Added damage

Now I know not all of these will fit. From what I understand of prefixes and suffixes, I can only fit these?--

Suffixes
1) Attack speed %
2) Increased Armor
3) Dexterity
4) Resistances
5) Life Gain on Hit
Prefixes
1) + to max life
2) Life Leech
3) Movement speed
4) Any kind of + to Damage

I don't think this is 100% correct but it is only according to what I've come to learn. There is no substantial information that is helpful to me, and what I've found is about as casual-user-friendly as a pregnant hippo is to a tourist.

I'd really love it if someone told me which of the mods I want that can fit on my gloves. Obviously the pair of gloves with 2% life leech are much better to work with. I use them already.

I can remove the 30% lightning res, put on Elreon's Multi-Mod then put on Lightning res again but I will only do this if I can fit an "attack speed %" mod or maybe life gain on hit or added phys. damage.

Hey, your list is a bit off. %Armour is a prefix. Also you used 3) twice, which is why I was confused for why the stats seemed impossible.
For the first pair of gloves:

Prefixes:
Life
Life Leech
(free)

Suffixes:
Cold res
Dex
Lightning res (crafted)

Elreon's multimod is a suffix that takes up it's own space. Therefore you can't put in lightning res again, you'd be better off saving the 2 exalts and putting in a prefix +phys damage or suffix %aspd if you don't need the lightning res. Multimod does nothing here.

For the 2nd gloves

Prefixes:
+Phys
(free)
(free)

Suffixes:
Dex
%Aspd
(Free)

If you multimod this, you can add life and armour prefixes. Else you can add a resist for a suffix but be unable to add to your prefixes with the crafting benches.

On the other hand, if you were in the position to spend 2 exalts you can acquire gloves with your specifications within that price range (from a couple of searches on poe.trade).

Elreon multi mod counts as one of your suffixes so if you were to put that on your first gloves you would have filled all your suffixes (and not be able to put lightning resist back on) and only have a prefix free. Hence, it would be pointless.

You could add it to your second gloves but that would fill all your suffixes (so no resistances) but you would be able to add two prefixes (eg life and leech).

Ahh, ok. Now I understand guys. Seems like I was close to the mark. Looks like I will be missing one mod that I want on the gloves, eg, not worth the dough! The two resistances with the % leech, +life are mandatory so it seems like getting Attack Speed % isn't going to be possible no matter what I do. I don't think 5-10 added damage will be worth 2ex until I have nothing more to do with money and crafting intense for a poor man!

Crafting can be a career ender for many in POE. My advice would be to look on poe.trade website often until you find what you're looking for. Since most people use unique gloves, very solid rare/yellow ones are often reasonable in price.

I'm running a non-crit build right now, and I'm level 93 using gloves that cost me only 8 chaos. I'm so glad I didn't try crafting my own.
