Theory, does anyone know for sure?

Hello!
just sat all alone thinking about combinations of skills, and then I started to think abit about the tempest shield.

Basically... what about this?

step 1: Get a bunch of zombies, lets say you got 6 of them.
Step 2: Get the passives that gives them block chance, and your shields benifits, goes to them, instead of you.

step3: activate tempest shield.

Now, in my head, things goes like this...
The benefits of the shield, lets say all resistance and bonus health, goes to you zombies instead of you.

With tempest shield, you cast a thunderbolt on block, does this mean, that zombies will now cast thunderbolts on blocking? Or does it still have to be YOU who block?

Is the tempest shield considered to be a property of the shield, once it's activated? anyone knows?
Bonuses not from modifiers on the equipped shield are not removed from the character and transferred to minions. Skill gems socketed in equipped shields will still be usable. The buff from Tempest Shield will still benefit the character.
Thanks for clarifying, though I'm a bit dissapointed ^^
it could have opened up quite some possibilites imo..
