Skin transfer and visual effect

I'm using for example this as skin:
If wearing the real belt of deceiver so you get special effect like this:

Yes, this seems odd... feels broken. You use the skin, but don't acquire the full look.

Wait really? so if i use storm cloud on my Lions eye bow, i wont get the lightning effect around it?

Sorry for necro, but you in fact Do get the lightning effect from stormcloud. I have a pretty cool ranger because of it.
However,no the belt of deceiver does not give its visual - and last i heard it was speculated to be cuz of PvP. I guess so they know you are wearing the belt, aside from ppl using it just for visuals (or fooling ppl in PvP, which i guess could be a type of pay to win) |
