Looking for Group is not really a LFG experience...

GGG adds lfg only tab

LFG only tab now looks like this....

LFG to trade alts for chaos
LFG to sell my COD 15 chaos
LFG........

After adding another tab, suspensions for tab abuse = problem solved.
Players buying/selling on noticeboard beacuse trade chat is completly broken. Trade chat have a good use first few days in new league when you can acrually read something and there aren't any in-game tools which provides trading.

If ggg implements poe.trade as in-game feature then noticeboard can became "party search" as it should....
Many thanks for this great answeres..

If there would be a special tab for "really lfg" then this is sufficient for me.

But be it as it be... may be I am hit by too many information... If a game has a trading channel, then I do not expect another place to look for trading items ... "better description" the noticeboard.... Is this for users to offer an item that is really important for other users to be bought ?, so they do not have to repeat their offer as it is done in the trade channel... Ok, seems to look good, for people which do not understand game design... they might find some usefull items in the "trading channel" other find something in the notice board. ... this is bad even for people who want to sell something, cause they need to create 2 notifications.

It's not always about you. The fact is there isn't a good place to post trades the trade channel scrolls so unless you post the message over and over it's gone in a few moments the board works great for people looking to make a trade but don't have time to spam over and over.

You could always go to general and post LFG for x over and over but you probably wouldn't get many takers and you wouldn't be able to do a map or whatever while you wait. It's not the traders fault the board works so well and there isn't a separate tab for trade.

It is not always about you. Use forum trade section. Party board is for PARTY. And not for your silly trading. General chat is for general chat. There is no LFG chat.
I gotta admit I stopped using the boards because 90% of the entries are these stupid trades.

Banning might be a little too much, but restriction from using boards might work.

And as others have said - trade being bad is another cause of this. : /

If they just created another tab for trading and another for party LFG, it'd solve most of the complaints.

Until people just flooded the "party lfg" board with all their trades, just like people who sell in global instead of trade chat, because "it's spam"

Also, lul, didn't we do one of these threads like last week or so?

The whole forum is nothing but a cycle. Who am I to fight it?

Anyway, you could put in a tab and then enforce it with warnings or temporary bans for abuse. That might be a bit heavy handed though.

for sure ... "The whole forum is nothing but a cycle. Who am I to fight it?" This is good for people who just start to play this game and yes they will first read the whole forum to get aware of game design mistakes that are well known by old players.

For over a year this was a really annoying problem and till now nothing has changed... > everybody who is pissed by this trading system will switch and play other games. So then POE will be a sink for players who lay the most importance on the priority "trade items"

Who are you? Why would game cater to you in the first place?
IGN: Perpetual_War / Malacath_
"Who are you? Why would game cater to you in the first place?" oh yes it is really difficult to think on this dumb reply. A game is at it is... there will be never ever be progress and the programmers are always implementing features they like without informing what is needed by most of the users.

use the search function.

Not a solution.

There is a limited amount of parties that can be listed in the party tab. Once your party becomes too old, it is automatically replaced with a newer one.

For a trade party, it is easy to remake party.

For a real party, it is far more time consuming since you have to reinvite every player you just played with.
