Banned for Using a Particle Disabler - Why?

No offense to the GGG team, but these QoL programs spring up because of things like obtuse graphical effects. As in other games, people eventually either get fed up with the effects, or getting banned for bypassing them, and quit altogether.

If their toaster is that bad then they need to start spending some money to get it to a bearable level eventually anyway.

The particle disabler is a bullshit excuse to try hide that they use the hacks, they were given fair warning in both the ToS and the one that went out a few weeks ago and that shit would have been all over the places they got the program from.

I for one am not partial to having my gaming experience hampered because some prick with too much money has an ego that needs stroking. Don't get me wrong - if they want to throw obscene amounts of money at GGG, go right ahead! Keep the game alive, it's a damn good one. Spend as much as you want on shiny effects! But if you're going to make me watch 500 of them at slideshow speed because I don't have a tri-sli GTX 780 setup, I'm pissed.

This game already runs like the Witcher 2, and doesn't look the part. Having MORE graphical jizz on the screen A) clutters it further, and in big fights and maps it's already a clusterfuck of colour B) tanks the already questionable framerate harder.
Compounding these issues, Nvidea has dropped PoE support in their drivers. The most recent ones actually reduce framerate, I find. (significantly so, like cut in half or worse)

Frankly, if I knew that there was a hack that removed particle density, I would have been using it a LOOONG time ago (and probably would have gotten banned in this wave) - and so help me god if there isn't a button of optimization with act 4, there's going to be hell to pay.

Your failure to read the announcements page, where important announcements happen (shocking!) and your failure to abide by the ToS is hardly GGG's fault. Find a mirror, look in it, there's the source of your ban.

This has nothing to do with reading forums or announcements...



Sorry for your loss, it would probably have been a good idea to not use 3rd party programs which are detected as cheats.
