Is the Void Battery so good ?

Hey guys,
Long story short , I have an CI Crit Arc Witch and I use this along with this . There's lot of fuss about the Void Battery.I could easily give up to the shield and get that extra +300 ES from a chest upgrade , but if I'll use 2 x Voids , will my damage increase significantly ? ( currently 15k at 6 power charges ).How about if I'll use only 1 Void ? THanks in advance, Cheers | |

void battery lowers your spell damage by 80% but increases 25% per charge
with 1 wand you will have 7 charges so 7x25=175% increase spell-80% so 95% damage boost if you duel wield them thats 8 charges so 200% increase per wand making 400%-160%=240% spell boost So thats 95% spell damage for 1 handed wand and 240% spell damage with 2 handed with all charges up |

VB is stronk if you maintain your charges, gimp if you let them drop off.

" Yes. Assuming you maintain max power charges at all times, your crit chance will be slightly higher with double void battery than with those two items. Your spell damage will be *significantly* higher. |

ok, you currently have:
53% spelldamage 19% castspeed 193% crit 1 void: no charges up: -60% spelldamage (80-20 of implicit) 149-164% crit 10-20%castspeed charges up: 195% spelldamage +4% extra of spelldamage per powercharge passive 199-214% crit 10-20% castspeed with charges up, you would gain: 142% +4% spelldmage 6-21% crit -9 to +1% castspeed 2 void: no charges up: -120% spelldamage (in case it doubles up, but not sure and too lazy to check right now, might make an edit later) 100-130% crit 20-40% castspeed charges up: 240% spelldamage +8% extra of spelldamage per pwoercharge passive 200-230% crit 20-40% castspeed with charges up, you would gain: +187% +8% spelldamage 7-37% crit 1-21% castspeed also, get that additional 7th basepowercharge it would get an additional +50% crit + 25% +4% spelldamage so with 7 base charges and 2 vid you could get a total of: 265% +9x4% spelldamage 100-130% + 9x50% crit 20-40% castspeed i sometimes run dualvoid for fun and i would describe the damage as obscene :) but keep in mind, you will loose not only the 300 base es (which is like 1k or so with multipliers, but also 8% block |
