For the game being shitty atm

I've yet to find anything good to quit too simply because it can't top PoE well other then my temporary games but I usually beat those and never really replay them.

All though the season 2 D3 thingie is coming but... ehhhhhhhhhh mehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

On the other hand, whenever I quit PoE to play a game that contains gameplay variability, decision-making, and reflex elements, I'm always blown away at how intrinsically fun video games can be.

Because let's be honest; nobody's playing this game for its riveting "kill everything with one mouse button then die to something that deals 10000% more damage than 99% of the other threats" gameplay.

I'm done with PoE at this point. Going to get my Grandmaster submitted and then pretty much retire. I can't handle all this cheating crap, and I wasn't in the greatest frame of mind about the game following 1.3 anyways tbh. I'll probably do a big sale of stuff after submission so people can at least use my gear once I'm gone. No point in it all rotting in a stash forevermore. (and who knows.... if I come back someday the currency will be sitting there waiting xD)


The announcement about the mass warning today... I don't quite know if I'm confused or livid. Probably both. Seems like 2014 was just a never ending parade of scandals for this game. (and GGGs attitude of... damage control at best.... or nothing at all has not exactly been inspiring.)

I used to play PoE for several hours daily. Now I'm playing this game only sometimes, in short burst sessions when I'm bored doing a few maps only then quit again for a few days. During my playtime in poe ( which is over 2 years ) I realized how much I miss singleplayer games with a good story and characters. I started to play again my old Nintendo and PS3 games like Final Fantasy, Tales of Xillia, Shin Megami Tensei and other JPRG's and also some Mario classics :-) I also tried Wasteland 2 and Divinity Original Sin on steam, played some Civilization 5 in the meantime and other games aswell. Reading books is also what I was missing because PoE and LoL took almost all my free time. I am happy about the change, but I might be playing more PoE again once the new act is released. Not sure for how long tho... I don't think the game will change much.
