Maligaro's Restraint: What's the Verdict?

Cool belt with a cool visual effect. But what are you guys using it for? What's the secret of Maligaro's Restraint? Whose hidden sultry promises allude to the mystery behind the smile of the Mona Lisa. (LOL)

I only just got my hands on one and I slapped it on my generic level 46 wander and the damage is impressive. But I also found that it is NOT wise to wear the belt vs any boss or unique enemy with high spike potential. In other words it seems to excel at clearing fields of trash mobs but not for going up against anything dangerous.

I think the best thing about it is what it can to increase chaos damage, or to increase the amount of damage you reflect back to enemies while you leech yourself back up constantly with either a direct attack skill or cast on stun spells. When I combine those two concepts I think of a CI character wearing Incandescent Heart. Which is the chest that converts 25% of elemental damage you receive into chaos damage while also giving u more leech.

It seems like a very peculiar item. That requires a whoooooole lot of specialization to reap the most benefits.

It mostly exists because there was only one unique chain belt. Now when people see a unique chain drop they don't immediately know if they have an auxium, or a trollxium.

The belt is for lld crafting along with prismweave. To compensate for the removal of hybrid master mod.

If they make the bubble bit transferable... then I will skin it onto my belt to look cool.

I won't be attempting any more builds after this one. I'm making a CI Marauder with Incandescent Heart to see whether this belt can function in that situation. With Immortal Call for physical defense, leech, and -25% elemental damage and chaos damage immunity...maaaaybe the belt can function at high level =p

currently at 1200HP/1400ES level 63 Flicker strike is at 4500 per attack. switched to blood dance because 4% extra ES regen per second is pretty good.

Btw I know how to build a HC character and this isn't it =p I could have easily build this with daggers or claws but I wanted to use a 2H axe because I've never built for 2h axe before. And also never build a CI marauder. So that on top of wanting to see this cool pink blue bubble actually work. It's like this stone I threw got a multikill.
