Three dragons and Herald of ASS

Simple question, if I kill a monster with herald of Ass active and Three dragons equipped, will other enemies still be ignited for overkill damage? Since I did not trigger ignite directly it should work rite? Just because I'm paranoid doesn't mean they're not out to get me.

Three Dragons does exactly what it says it does, and nothing more. It modifies the status ailments inflicted by Elemental Damage. Herald of Ash does not deal Fire, Cold or Lighting Damage.
