Deleveling Gem with Orb of Scouring

So, I decided to delevel my level 17 gem by 5 levels. I just put my gem on the sell window and a stack of scourings . Wasn't really paying attention. Then I sold it and get my level 16 gem and guess what, all my scourings are wasted.

so hows that supposed* to work then if it didnt do what u thought it would do? dont get why u'd ever even get close to putting a stack of scours into the vendor panel, dont they just give scroll fragments?

I dont rightly understand either. He put his gem and scourings into the sell window of a vendor then bought something from the vendor? you have to close the sell window first and I dont think it auto sells if you close it... Very confused atm

There is a crafting formula that is :
Gem + 1 orb of scouring = same gem but one level lower. What OP did is put Gem + 5 orbs of scouring in hopes that it would delevel 5 times, but it not only deleveled only once, but also ate all his scourings. Hope that's clearer. |

if he put 1 gem and 1 orb in the gem goes down a lvl,
But atm the shop does not recognise 1 or 5 orbs of scouring and still only lowers gem by one level, known issue will get fixed eventually BUT its about being aware and looking at your trade before accepting |

Oh, thats kinda stupid imo. Why cant you right click the orb then click the gem?
