Wand stats for freezing pulse crit build
Well, "completely wrong" is a harsh thing to say.
I am a hardcore player. For me, spell crit chance means safety through freeze, projectile speed means safety through range. That is why I ranked critical strikes and faster projectiles very high, and if you get a lot of critical strikes, for example 50% (easily achievable), crit multi gives you a lot of damage (here: in 50% of the cases, a flat X amount of damage, so X/2 more sheet dps), and that is usually much more than spell damage could. On my FP templar, 10 % increased spell damage gives me the same amount of sheet dmg increase as 2% crit multi. That, of course, differs from build to build and from item set to item set. If you don't care about range or the number of crits you land, pretty much anything related to spells is good on a wand, as long as it has high numbers :-) this is what a FP wand could look like: |

" LOL wut? "Completely wrong" I don't think anyone said get phys damage did they? You basically regurgitated what everyone else said but added im "Imthegreatest" to it. No1 here is completely wrong or even close, different build goals lead to different itemization. And I think people put spell damage last because it's pretty much a given that a wand will have some type of spell damage on it, which I thought was pretty obvious, isn't it? I think you need to hop off your pedestal. Besides that I argee with your post for the most part. Like I said we all have different goals for the build, I don't value cast speed as heavy as you do, for one since I'm using shavs I can use haste combine with blood rage and spell echo that enough cast for me, so I prefer to focus more on spell/cold damage and crit chance/multi. If your going for sheet dps which is strictly what your post seems to be focus on, then I'm pretty sure added chaos > ICD. LocK Last edited by SticKyGreeNzlNY#2901 on Feb 5, 2015, 1:04:29 PM
