1-hand/shield vs 2-hander

Anyone else feel like a 1-hand/shield build is underwhelming compared to a 2-hander build, or is that just me? Maybe I'm not finding the right weapons for my 1-hander??

if you dont plan to take any shield passives then the differance is 30% less attack damge vs a lot more damage.
if you plan on taking shield nodes then the differance is a lot of damage for nearly 70% less damage (and sometimes spell damage). the differance in survivability is huge later on, so is the differance in dps. each to ut's own, but neither is underwhelming for what it does |
