Slowly starting to hit a wall by level 85. Damage starts to feel lackluster without Inpulsa's, single target damage is worse than i'd wish it to be and survivability - let's say that simply stacking HP with completely 0 Evasion/Armor/Dodge/Block sounds as bad as it works. Mana problems on top of that if you have no Mind of the Council which cost abnormal price at this point in league and even with it it isn't probably much better, Laviange is more than necessary tbh. Maps around tier 7-8 start to feel like challange for this build and while AoE clear is somewhat okay, the single target where you have only 1 target just begs for different ST skill. I'm not giving up yet on this build but for now i don't see myself sticking with it up to tier 15 and above, because of the problems i'm starting to have now and little with future upgrade plans having to do with ST. Just seems like a waste of currency for too little for me. 2 EX Incpulsa, almost 2 EX mind of the council, Doryani sitting around 1 Ex. For this amount of cash you could have build something that is more tankier and safer probably having the same or even faster clear speed. Just my ten cents.

So I'm getting into t8 maps now and I'm noticing my damage is slowing down and I'm not sure what to do to increase it.

Obviously I need a six socket and I think a new weapon but other than those things I'm not sure what else I can really do to increase it and basically looking for some direction on which way to go.

@szulerecki: There's a reason for those issues, you still have lots of potential without needing to invest into the big items.

Most importantly is using the correct gem setups, you pretty much only have the Arc setup and nothing else. Getting (and keeping up) the Orb of Storms 4L alone will give you lots of extra damage and mana regen, Shield Charge will heavily increase your clearspeed and survivability through Fortify, and the low level CwDt + Vortex trigger and Decoy Totems will be another layer of defense.

Next is flasks, check out the flask section which ones you should use. With the above changes, both Quicksilvers won't be needed at all for example. An Eternal Life Flask with Bubbling or Catalysed is also overall safer.

Gear-wise, start with upgrading your jewels, then get an Essence Worm and then think about any of the other uniques, with according gear upgrades to keep resistances capped.

If all that won't help, then i'd recommend Vaal Clarity as last resort.

@Tharoixs: That's mostly due to your Arcs level, just keep playing and the problem will somewhat fix itself. By that time you will also have more jewel sockets available, and be able to upgrade your current jewels.

I can see the build recommends atziri's mirror, but what about atziri's reflection? is it worth it at all considering it loses the block chance/spell block chance

I've actually just removed it again, since it wasn't impactful enough and I needed to get rid of something to stay within the post character limit.

Atziri's Reflection would be really good, basically for the same reasons as on any other build.
Curse Immunity and inc. Curse Effect are just that strong, plus it has solid resistances and the Int gives us some flat mana.

I'm not expecting anyone to actually get that shield for this build, but if someone does then please give some feedback.

I read the guide and i'm not sure about replacing Arc for Vaal Arc.
In case of doing it, for what support gem should I replace the Echo Support one?

Hi Enki.

I am a SSF player, my character recently died to atziri (fb ignite trickster).

Before i died i did find an Inpulsas and a Pledge of Hand, both rolled very well. This made me wanna do a noncrit arc shock elementalist

now i Wanted to ask you, because you seem to be on of the arc specialists in this commubity, if you think this will work decently well with Pledge of Hand instead of 1h and shield.

i know, i will Move a little Slower because it's a staff, nur that part doesn't bug me that much because i'm still progressing through the atlas and long away from starting to speedfarm.

I would highly appreciate your Input.

Is Esh's Mirror a viable option for the build?

Hi,

not OP but playing this myself and i think i can help.
The new Vaal Gems grant you the "normal" version as well. So putting a Vaal Arc in your setup will give you a normal linked Arc and a linked Vaal Arc. Wich means there is virtually no downside to using Vaal Arc over Arc at least in the beginning.

And trust me you wanna see a whole screen of enemys explode or go out in a flash when you use your Vaal Arc. ;)

Edit: Read your question again and thought i might missunderstood you. If you are asking if you should replace the Echo support to get an additional link on the Vaal Arc i would say no. The Vaal Arc is in anycase one charge and potent enough with one support less.

Hi! First off I want to thank you for the excellent quality guide and all the work you put into this.

Anyway, this is my first league and I'm not sure where to focus on upgrading from here. (incursion character Sturmcantir) Right now I have about ~100 chaos as well as an assortment of various currencies. I'm still working on white maps in my atlas, no problems yet with damage or survivability with my current gear. Sometimes I will have mana problems if there is a barrage of attacks from a bunch of enemies at once.

What slots do you recommend I focus on upgrading next?
