Would cursing yourself temporal chains be worth increasing your vaal skill uptime?

I considered Vaal IC too first, but the 96 souls needed are a turn-off for me (as a SC player). I can see the merits for HC though. (Opening those Pohx-Boxes)

Well with 7 end charges, a 20/20 Vic with max skill duration should last 30 ish seconds. That's absolutely huge!
