Thanks!

And yeah it would be awesome to have some +1 acuitys! but sadly I am not quite to that level of wealth yet to risk pairs of them trying to get it :/ but then again acuitys are starting to lower in price, so it may be something I try in the future :) Have so much gear I need to sell before I start investing into new toys though :P

+1 shavs too lol O_o

It would be impossible for me to compare builds with you since you have all that sexy gear, but have you considered adding herald of ice and ash to your build?

I'm running 9 aura's:

Hatred / Anger / Wrath / Discipline / Vitality / Purity of Elements / Herald of Thunder / Herald of Ice / Herald of Ash

177 life reserved

I did in fact test out running with 8 auras (+ 2 more heralds), but in order to do that I had to drop the wand cluster at the top and go to the Sovereignty cluster by templar.

I did gain a bit of DPS, but it was barely an increase since I had to remove wand nodes to get aura nodes. But more dps is more dps why not stay that way you may ask? Well in order to fit those extra heralds in, I would also have to lose some utility in my links, either my single target, or my cursing HoT. So I tried it out w/o the curse on hit and when I did that it pretty much forced me to lose a gem slot in my 6L to fit pcoc back in there or spam my single target much more often than I prefer to.

All and all I just decided that losing the utility for more auras was just not worth it, I felt the build played much smoother with the 6 auras and also I feel that going for more dps is pretty much overkill, I'm already 1 shotting everything as it is, so I prefer more utility and convenience than I did more dps that wasn't really adding any clear speed or anything.

I will not say that one version is better than the other, but I will say that after tons of testing with different setups, I found myself the most satisfied with this setup :) Perhaps your best option may be different with different gear.

Ya for me because I have pretty average gear, I think I'm better off doing the 9 aura's, but I understand that with your gear, what's the point right? 100k+ DPS with GMP and AOE explosions must be absolutely insane...

For me, it just makes the build more fun trying for as many aura's as possible. It's pretty cool with all three heralds going, and purity of elements for non rich players is pretty important. It means I can ditch resists from the rest of my gear and just go for more damage mods instead.

I'm only lvl 72, but when I hit 80 or so I'll throw up my tree and gear so non rich players might see how 9 aura's is still do-able.

Hell yeah mate, I don't blame you, auras are awesome and the more the better usually :) Most of my previous builds ran as many auras as possible :)

I added another build of mine to the OP, a Mjolner witch who I play sometimes
Hey man. Nice build with terribly jelly-inducing gear.

So I found a shavs in BL a few weeks back and decided that I should use the opportunity to make a low life build, which I haven't yet tried in PoE thus far. I refuse to go ST because I'm a hipster. Windripper would yield some ridiculous DPS, and I want to make a YOLO build, even if I'm playing HC. That said, without the shield slot (and without legacy shavs or the currency to get BiS helms etc) I just feel it wouldn't be tank enough.

So I decided to settle on a wander (only played melee so far in BL and ranged will just be safer with what's actually not really a HC build). I seldom look at build guides to direct my thinking, but seeing as I have no experience with low life builds I thought I'd see what's out there. Mainly found softcore builds with ridiculous gear, which are far cries from what I could ever get in HC.

So I just have some questions regarding what a similar build might look like in HC:

My biggest fear is reflect - is vaal pact going to be enough to mitigate it? I had always assumed ondar's guile was mandatory but haven't seen it being used in builds like yours. Any thoughts?

I debated it for a long while but think I've decided that I should rather go mana (using leech) than BM. I would lose a 60% aura for this as I'm not going to get the templar aura nodes, but this seems acceptable to me. I just don't know how I'd sustain KB on life seeing as I'm reserving most of my life and not getting life regen from anywhere. It also just takes a lot more levels if I go all the way down to BM. Because I'm planning on using grace, a hybrid Es/Ev shield (and possibly ondar's) I don't want to take unwavering stance either, which would make the journey more worthwhile.

I'm also just worried about things like heralds or anything I can take damage from but not leech from. Any ideas on how to be as safe as possible vs these sorts of problems other than just having the biggest ES pool possible?

Your input is appreciated dude :)
