Is it possible to farm Vaal Orbs?

I've searched and read through "how-to's" and the forums, but everything seems aimed at teaching people how to use Vaal Orbs, but not actually how to obtain them in the first place.

I've found a small handful of Vaal Orbs as I've leveled my characters, but now that I'm using them more often on maps and strongboxes, is there a way to consistently farm Vaal Orbs?

The only vendor recipe (that we know of) requires 7 Vaal gems and a Vaal Sacrifice fragment in exchange for a Vaal Orb. This suggests that the only way for someone to farm Vaal Orbs requires you to find at least 8 Corrupted Zones to obtain the recipe items.

Since Forsaken Masters has become the current expansion, the drop rates of Vaal Orbs has been reduced, as has the spawn rate of Corrupted Zones.

It seems that everyone in trade wants to buy these, but there is no one to sell them.

If I remember correctly, IIQ will increase the chances of getting orbs. Description on the wiki says items, and since orbs are items then I assume it works for orbs too.

Aside from IIQ and corrupted zones, no.

The corrupted zones seem to appear more often in some areas than others. Like in multi-level areas like Lunaris Temple, when I find the stairs, I go find the dead end(s) in other directions and often find a corrupted zone at the end of the dead end.

I can sell you vaal gems for very cheap or for sac frags to speed you up for recipe.
I get plenty farming midnights and some are kinda worthless besides recipe.

Then yes lots of people are using them way more than before, and prices haven't shifted yet.
If you want to buy them you'll have to pay higher than most of the ratio you see on group panel (which probably never lead to any real trade at the rates you can see).

I shuffled around my gear last night to get another +50% IIQ. There was a noticeable increase in my currency drops, but alas no Vaal Orbs yet. I'll keep farming and hoping for some RNG!

This make sense, as I've noticed many people offering to buy Vaal Orbs at a 1:1 ratio for Chaos Orbs, but never have I seen anyone actually selling for this price (or any price for that matter).

I've buyed at least 30 vaal on 1:1 ratio on the last week . I use it on maps for fun . Maybe you don't search enough or stay too much time QQ in forum ;)
