Please allow us to kick players from hideouts...

Spoiler

Please allow us to kick players from our hideouts! There should be an option that lets us kick a player in our hideout which sends them back to their own hideout or a1 normal or something! This guy has been trashing my library hideout and idling in a corner... what can I do to reset my hideout instance???

go to town and use the instance manager (ctrl+click on the waypoint entry) to create a new instance?

You don't think I would have tried that? That works for other stuff but not for my hideout!
I've never had this problem myself, but it seems like an important piece of functionality to add. +1.
For now, I would say to go into your Hideout Stash and disallow Friend/Guild/Party Members, or whichever one(s) is relevant to the player that you let into your Hideout. If the player is not kicked immediately, then the player will at least not be allowed back in once he/she leaves. So, you can prevent him/her from being a long-term nuisance. Everyone will want to leave at some point, and beyond that, everyone is forced offline eventually, whether through electrical outage, network outage, or server-downtime. So, the annoyance only needs to be temporary.
TY to those who called me out on my BS on these forums. There is no benefit to being so selfish as to fail to acknowledge others' differing beliefs of what "should be" or believe your own opinions so supreme as to be factual and thus dismiss others' opinions as being somehow a lie or delusional.
I've had awkward sales, where I've gone to a hideout to sell, and then the buyer wanted me to stay and have a drink or tea or something.

Felt very "to catch a predator" or something.

But never had an unwanted guest / heckler.

It has been nearly 48 hours and my hideout is still covered with carcasses and filth! The player is not responding and I have no idea why he's just sitting there idling in my ho without actually playing the game or ever leaving!!

Edit: It's getting to the point that I just to select a new hideout and just deal with the loss of experience on some of my masters. I kind of play this game in clusters, like I'll play 3 days straight and then not again for a couple of days, so it was very frustrating this weekend to have this happen to me :(

Well its kind of late now but if this happens again in the future- buy a pile of corpses from Vagan then drop it on their head. Or any other object that will force him/her in place. Then get some wall tilesets like from cata for example. Surround the ass with walls so that they cant cast beyond that and litter your hide. Of course as stated above- make sure that only friends/guild mates etc can come to your hide before hand so that he/she cant log out and reenter your instance.
There's not an option to kick players from hideouts???
Damn... that's so basic.
