Detonates nearby corpses
Hi! Detonate nearby corpses mod does not detonate nearby to the box corpses but detonate corpses on character instead. Also it wont detonate anything untill character comes closer to box and step on pile of corses to be detonated. Please fix this. Why to run out of it or to use a skill to teleport out of it when that damn box wont detonate anything in forever untill I come closer to it and step on corpses to let it detonate me?

I was about to post the EXACT same thing!
Just died to this in a L76 Zana mission with my L91 character. It was a sea spawn with fracture version Triggerred box, ran, came back, killed everything. Box didn't open...10 secs later I went near the box and BANG, 50 or so sea spawn I'd killed just detonated. So annoying! |

I thought it's intended because detonate dead is an offensive skill to hurt the player :)
Alira or other bosses also detonate corpses only if you are nearby. Dynamit,

i had a similar experience, i transmuted+auged a white normal strongbox, it got nearby corpses detonate and items are identified.
So i open the box, using whirling blades to quickly get away from it, thinking i'm ok. The monsters come at me and i start killing them. At the edge of my AoE, some corpses do detonate, but i'm still out of blast range, then when the last monster dies, ALL corpses on the screen detonated, leaving me dead... Here is the image,where you can see pieces of corpse all over the screen, the yellow identified item is where the strongbox was:

Not really a bug report, but I just died to one of these also, never having had any trouble with them before. I cleared out all the corpses around the box with my own detonate dead (as I always do), opened the box, blink-arrowed away to the side of the screen, and got hit by some uncleared corpses that I foolishly thought were too far away for the box to detonate.
Anyway, live and learn on the range of these strongboxes, but my definition of "nearby" obviously isn't the same as GGG's (unless it's supposed to have the highly non-obvious interpretation of "nearby the character" instead of "nearby the box"). |
