Pretty close to the numbers I got when I 6-linked my real Shavs in-game. Although, OP, I'm pretty sure your odds aren't right if you're using Vorici prices. The odds to get a 6-link by spamming fusings should be less than 1,500 (and closer to 900-1000, based on large scale testing). All of Vorici's prices are substantially higher than the average number of orbs to get the same results via manual spamming. The game wants its pound of flesh (currency sink) one way or another, and if you pick the easy way out (using Vorici), they expect you to pay a premium for that peace of mind.

Edit: chromatics are an exception when it comes to Vorici -- for jewelers and fuses, he rips you off
