Do minions trigger 'on Kill' effects?

Do minions trigger the 'on Kill' effects of items and gems, e.g. the "Gain a Frenzy Charge on Kill" from Blood Rage?

They don't have the Blood Rage Buff, so no, that won't work. If you give them an on-Kill effect through Necromantic Aegis, they can trigger that. Additionally, Curses with on-Kill effects apply as per usual (Warlord's Mark can give them Endurance Charges).

So if you somehow manage to get a skill on your shield (corruption), and link it with cast on melee kill and melee minions, then you use AM, would it work? (Assuming you raise the minions before linking cast on melee kill or proc the minions using a melee skill)

No. They have the modifier "Grants lv16 Vuln" or whatever, but their Melee Attack is still not linked to that Skill.
