Dread Thicket --- what's the point?

Did they have chests in those two areas in the past? Must be before i started playing. I never saw one so yeah after awhile both seemed like a waste of time. (I started in ambush)

I may be wrong here, but I think chests were removed with SOTV patch (?). Or a bit later, after leagues have already started (?).

I always forget about dread thicket existing apart from when i see someone clearing that again in a race. Ive been there exactly once. To full clear for challenge

" Yea large chest were removed in the patch, but I forgot what patch where the large chest went from 100% chance to spawn to like barely spawning. At that point, I already lost interest in those two areas besides getting the achievement that came out later on. Sometimes you can take the game out of the garage but you can't take the garage out of the game.

Oh, that should have been a long time ago. I play from beginning of OB and as far as I remember chests were random. Probably in CB ?

Bring back big chests or riot! Also, spectral throw should only work with 2h's or riot! Rawr!
