Duelist is very good class for duel weapon melee build due to weapon range & dual block node but you can choose ranger or shadow there is only less difference Why duel weapon?

i'm trying to play one hand full block build it's tanky and have 6k life but dps is only 32k we can get more fast attack speed & high dps if choice duel weapon :) Pros

- less life(you can get about 54k life - need 108 Int(due to concentrate effect) - less AOE area(but more powerful!!) - less armor(strong unique monster can kill you one shot, but u can dodge & block or avoid using movement skills) - less resist(most core items no have resist, you should bring it from rings, belt, gloves or... weapon :) ) Passive Tree

Normal - 40 life(kill Oak) Cruel - skill point or phy dmg or attack speed i'm choose kill point but using for 12% phy dmg :( You can gey 18% phy dmg if you kill Oak Merciless - skill point gears

Legacy Bor is best choice for this build (about 10ex in standard league) but if you need cheap gear buy non-legacy (about 1~2ex in standard leauge) it's less life & damage but still great :) choose high pdps & fast sword you can buy 290pdps sword about 1~2ex on standard 30 Int is very good due to concentrate effect(need 108 Int) but you can choose 3~4% chance to block option if you can bring int from another gears(but expensive) life & resist is best option we need at least 2% life leach & 2% mana leech from ring or belts or glove resist, mvm speed, spell block.. best boots for this build! Unfortunately, due to the amazing interactions between Bringer of Rain and Wings of Entropy, it is almost always better to go for that instead of dual-wielding.
A perfect physical damage roll on a WoE makes it equivalent to two 295 dps one-handers, but because it's also a two handed weapon, you get to double-dip on those nodes too...so switching to that will likely increase your dps (and survivability from it's other properties). As for your current build: Consider getting a 4% corrupted Stone of Lazhwar (or corrupting some yourself) to max out your block chance if you can, gloves with intelligence can pick up the slack. ...and definitely switch to Meginord's Girdle if you can spare the resists. You you could also trade 22% max life for 32% ias by switching to this tree. That's a big loss in life, but it might be worth it since you aren't playing hardcore and it'll improve your dps substantially. | |

You'll get more dps from melee physical damage than from added fire, plus you'll leech more life.
WoE and BoR is powerful combination and cheap. But you're limited by the WoE itself, there's no upgrade. Investing in a true duel wield build yields better results in the end. Look at duel wielding Doryani builds, or duel wield foil builds, for instance. So many strikes within one breath.
But only one strike needed, for certain death. | |
" yes, i know Bor + Woe is amazing combination and i'm used to paying that build but there is only 48k dps when i used 116% Woe and i'm trying to change my amulet for 4% corrupted Stone of Lazhwar but it's expensive haha LOL anyway thank you for ur advice. ur adjusted skill tree looks very powerful and fast :) Last edited by lamuria on Oct 28, 2014, 9:29:04 PM
