REQUEST: Australian Servers!

Hi guys, I play from Australia and am always playing with at least 200-350 ping (300 onwards is unplayable) and can be very frustrating (especially when training). HP bar is full one second, next second I'm dead. I'm suggesting a request for a Australian server or something

They would very much like to have them, but the cost of renting servers is Australia is prohibitively expensive.

id like that there would be some sort of chinese/russian servers..or middle east,since distance is too great between europe and singapore it creates some decent amount of ping.

In the recent podcast, Chris touched up on this. Yes, hosting a server in Australia or New Zealand would be exorbitantly expensive. He mentioned something about some weird law shenanigans in China that made that difficult. Not sure if he mentioned anything about Russia or anywhere else in the general center of asia.

It's not that farfetched, Valve has Australian Dota 2 servers now. :)

But yes, both Valve and Riot are running on much bigger budgets than GGG.
