Pack size/more magic increase the maps drop?

I have in this league 4 stash full of maps (and 5th is now empty)

1-low maps(66-69)
2-70-71s
3-72's
4-73+ (4 or 5 days ago i chained 20x 77s and 10x or so 78's solo)
5-every 71+ map that drops while my other stash tabs are full

And, in my opinion is all rng...

I have rolled 130%iiq maps with 40 pack size or magic mobs and i got shit (low maps) and i have played mirroreds 78s and got x3 78s

Alch and go is the best thing you can do for 73-75s

For 76-78 use always chisels and aim for pack size/magic mobs. Or alt pack size/magic + regal ( i got disgusting results with this though)

From what I understand there are two separate variables working and they should not be confused. One is map drop chance and the other is map level chance. Map drop chance is affected by all the things this thread is discussing. Map level is only affected by mlvl (+1 champ, +2 rare, etc.) and limited to not drop anything above this. The best work i have seen on map level drop is a .69 multiplier per mlvl over 66. This puts the average map dropped by a lvl 78 mob at about 74. The point is that if you found a bunch of low maps you should not take that as a failed strategy.
Thanks for many replies!

What I'd like to know is best(cheapest) way to sustain 77/78 maps.

1. chisel -> transmutation -> alts(pack/magic)
cost: 4chis + 10~20alt + map
quantity: +20~40% +pack/magic

2. chisel -> transmutation -> alts(pack/magic) -> zana onslaught
cost: 4chis + 10~20alt + 6c + map
quantity: +60~80% +pack/magic

3. chisel -> transmutation -> alts(pack/magic) -> regal -> zana onslaught
cost: 4chis + 10~20alt + 1regal + 6c + map
quantity: +70~90% +pack/magic

4. chisel -> alc -> chaos(pack/magic)
cost 4chis + 1alc + 5~10c + map
quantity: +40~100% +pack/magic

5. chisel -> alc -> chaos(pack/magic) -> zana onslaught
cost 4chis + 1alc + 5~10c + 6c + map
quantity: +80~140% +pack/magic

6. chisel -> alc
cost 4chis + 1alc + map
quantity: +50~100%

7. use other zana mod
Anarchy for additional exile drop.
Ambush for carto box. (very expensive.)

I usually
77map ->2
78map ->5

magic/pack/rares all do exacly the same thing when it comes to generating map drops. this was concluded earlier this year in the big test with over 1000 maps and i have seen nothing in the patch notes that would indicate this has changed.

For every x% increase in the Magic mod, the average number of map drops increases by e(0.003785*x) times or for every unit increase in the magic mod, we augment the average number of map drops by 1.004.

For every x% increase in the Pack Size mod, the average number of map drops increases by e(0.00357*x) times or for every unit increase in the magic mod, we augment the average number of map drops by 1.004.

For every x% increase in the Rares mod, the average number of map drops increases by e(0.003711*x) times or for every unit increase in the magic mod, we augment the average number of map drops by 1.004.

Thanks for information!

do the sacrifice fragments used in conjunction with the map itself add to the probability of map drops ?

I know other items dont such as IIQ/IQI.

They add 5% additional quantity to a map so yes.
