Linking a Skill Tree

I a sure I am doing something wrong, probably something dumb. But I am not able to link a skill tree build I want to ask advice on. I've been away for a while, so I may have forgotten something. But it seems like when I was done with the build, I would just copy-paste the link from the bar above and that would be it. Now it doesn't change, and links back to an empty skill tree.

What am I doing wrong?
Just to get this straight.

You go to the page "passive skill tree" left top of this webpage --> then fill it in with desired nodes --> then copy pasta the url?

This should function, post it in this thread sir, so i can see what you actually mean.

Or,

Are you utilizing an old url/old passive tree selection and trying to upload that?

This could be broken due to the changes to the passive tree.

Not sure what your case is so please elaborate,

Peace,

At the bottom of the skill tree page, there's a box that says "Link to this build" - try copying from there. Also, what browser are you using? I'm using Chrome, and it updates the url box normally for me.

Boem,

You got it right on the first try. I've copy pasted below, and that's all it ever shows me. Could it be some setting in my browser causing this?

RulerofAsgard,

I am using Internet Explorer, and I have looked for the box you mention, but I've got nothin'.

Argynt try downloading this one.

I have been using this for over a year and a half (in case you fear viruses or stuff like that) i am pretty sure others will also vouch for this off-line skill tree planner.

Make your passive tree in there (you can save them = Awesomesauce) and then copy the bottom url that appear's there and try to post that here to see if that one will function for you.

(i love this app, whoever made this, you have cost me hour's upon hour's of fierce theory-crafting <3)

Edit : you could also try installing another web-browser to see if that fixes the issue.

Boem,

I tried that just now. When I attempted to open it, Norton 360 shut i down and removed it instantly and said it was because it contained "Threat Name: WS.Reputation.1". :(

It sounded like a good alternative.

I may try a new browser, though I have been trying not to. :(

I would suggest visiting the tech sub-forum man, like i said i am not computer savi so i can only give you limited options to explore.

to me it sounds like a security conflict with your norton, but i would have no clue on how to resolve that. But i am sure people in the tech forums would know :).

Peace and i hope you can fix it man,
