Is it possible to remove the reduced rarity of Aurumvorax?
As said in the Title.
I saw this in the wiki. ![]() became like this. ![]() is it possible for Aurumvorax (or any unique) to work like that?, did anyone tried it? |

Reduced item rarity is Aurumvorax's downside. GGG likes to balance uniques by giving them a downside. The Goddess Scorned's downside is that it uses both weapon slots, preventing you from holding a shield. Also, in Aurumvorax's case, the downside is easily mitigated by pairing the sword with Andvarius for a ton of rarity. The downsides of each unique cancel each other out. SYNERGY.

In the case of the D&D monster, Aurumvorax was translated as "Golden Gorger," which, as the critter in question was essentially a mutant wolverine with a metallic hide, made perfect sense. Ah, Expedition to Barrier Peaks, you freakshow of a module. =^[.]^=

Actually Aurum vorax means voracious gold (or gluttonous gold for the alliteration).

" Aurumvorax is a very powerful item. If you think it sucks, you haven't yet figured out its strength.
Spoiler
It can completely negate Merciless resistance penalties, except for chaos.
