2.3 Fakener (budget fake Mjölner) build - Trickster Version
A question... the life based version of this build is good? I´m thinking about make this character but i dont know wich version choose :P

how you survive in melee? low eva, armour and dodge? just hoping to leech faster then you take dmg and hope not to get 1 shot?
gues this version of the builds aint hardcore viable, unless you got a deathwish? |
" You stack ES. This is basically a leech build. High damage to leech all the ES back via Vaal Pact. |
" yes, but he state that on hc he would make it as a life based build. i am using it on hc now and is currently lvl 46 with 1700 life. killing really fast but i start to feel that monsters hurt :D I know its not supposed to be optimal to lvl with, just wantedt to try :D |
" Just take out some of the crit nodes in exchange for life. I haven't died yet during mapping at 74, i am doing 73-78 maps with 4k health and 1.2k es. Kill them before they ever hit you. However i will eventually go CI when i get the gear for it. Last edited by saucefar2#3011 on Jan 17, 2016, 3:43:26 AM

I want to get a better understanding conceptually of the build. I see the mention of 'Crit Cap' a bunch. Is that speaking to 95% crit chance with ATTACKS or my discharge or what does that mean? I should know some of this already, but does the build revolve on Cyclone to proc the blade vortex and discharge?
Does spell crit help fuel the build or does that not really matter? Is it just an ancillary boost? Someone posted the following for jewels: " Does discharge count as a fire/lightning/cold spell all at once regardless of what I'm discharging. Do those crit chance and multipliers just all stack up even if I'm just using power charges? I also don't see normal crit chance on here. If I want capped crit on blade vortex, wouldn't I need to avoid the elemental crit chances? [e] Is there any reason if I use Elreon Diamond rings not to aug them before regaling? well, first of all discharge is a fire/light/cold skill depending on your charges - so possibly all or just one
spell crit upps your dmg (alot) and gives you more charges aswell so to speak doubledipping your dmg cyclone is solely there to proc our discharge(and BV), blade vortex is there to keep our power charges at max (and possibly proc EE altough i dont really get why added dmg to spells would help dmg wise) as to crit cap i dont really know (or care for that matter) myself |
So why would I want cold spell crit?
maybe im just wrong on the elemental nature of discharge

" The Elemental Equilibrium node is how we kill lightning resistant mobs. This is done by having either fire or ice damage on our cyclone and/or the Blade Vortex. Blade Vortex has longer range than Cyclone and hit more often, so it is more effective at maintaining the debuff on monsters. Thus fire/ice damage to spells is more effective for that purpose than on attacks. |
