RT + ignite is viable now.

So i wanted to get some general thoughts on the build i am making atm.

Gear i am using atm


Passive tree (current version)


Tooltip dps atm is 11096 damage.

Not accounting for the fire pen gem and the flamability i am cursing with.(no gems are 20/20 atm, which will be a big buff since most give %fire = double dip on burn and initial hit)

The idea is to jump in with leap slam + curse on hit + flamability + warlords mark then pop a granite flask (this proqs doryani's belt) and then smack away and watch the world burn.

Atm i am at 53% ignite chance if i am not mistaken.

So all in all, RT + ignite builds are entirely possible now with the new edition of the passive tree.

The only down-side is that you require a 6-link(but tabula is cheap and it works perfectly well with it) and a kaoms primacy would be a fine alternative to what i am using.

i will attempt to run RF with this build and switch to 1h + shield. Obviously i will use RotF and doryani's catalyst at that stage. Allowing me to burn with RF and also have a devastating molten shell as backup.

Will try to utilize SHIELD CHARGE once i am at that stage (yes, SHIELD CHARGE) instead of molten strike because of its 200% more multiplier this could be funny for ignites etc.

Alternatively if my fire resis is high enough i could utilize infernal blow for its 25% of corpse damage explosion, combined with the passive tree (ignite% + aoe) and the ele prolif in the links could give some screen clearing potential :D!

I'm doing a RT ignite build with trap burning arrow and chin sol. Focusing on fire/burning nodes and avatar of fire.

Ah fuck me, this was supposed to be in gameplay discussion, sorry for the wrong sub-forum y'all.

@kasub yeah that butt-load of MORE multiplier is kick-ass for builds like this.

Not sure if you need RT do, crit's could be nice since your utilizing traps and vaal burning arrow has 100% hit-rate already.

Might save you some travel points depending on your passive tree.

^Yeah this is like one of my allt chars when i am bored of cycloning true lvl 75+ maps :p.

So it's just a mash-up of left-over gear, so i am waiting with crafting on these pieces because i might still find more suited upgrades.

currently just life + resis main stuff and a big fat wooper (mace).
