Forsaken Craft: You've sort of broken your game GGG
" oh ya, for sure, mate Ive been arguing for crafting like this for so long, the single stat crafting that is. Ive put in a small books worth of posts detailing the problems in finding decent weapons and what that means for people who dont have the ability to put together enough to get a binos or superior weapon. It makes me really happy to see weapons like that imperial skean in the game, there are my rampage weapons the better of the claws and the bow were self found, these are my self found beyond weapons.. every one of them as benefited from this crafting. I am so happy this is in the game, this was needed, truly needed. Im just saying that other dagger in my op should not exist, that thing being in the game like that completely invalidates actually grinding for loot, and the way the masters are set up so that party traders and people with high level contacts can zerg them where solo self found cant means that the balance of how easily you can get higher tier crafting is being forced against solo players when really, this crafting should be all about helping solo players. It shouldnt be yet another aspect of the game where solo players are being forced to struggle under restrictions designed to curb the power of party traders. I love all you people on the forums, we can disagree but still be friends and respect each other :) Last edited by Snorkle_uk#0761 on Sep 20, 2014, 10:04:04 AM

The dichotomy in your argument makes no sense.
Those "party traders" and "zerg" rush players put in the time to get there first, and rightly deserve the rewards of the market. This provides a more competitive market for a wider variety of gear. Those players shopping from them benefit from cheaper access to better gear and potential to trade up those low quality "one off" rares. Solo self found players don't give a fuck about any of the above. They are a faction of "self imposed difficulty" players, and benefit from significantly enhanced loot finding. The entire premise of your argument about invalidating the loot finding process has been invalid since the conception of trading. Only now, mirror monopolies have competition. So what the fuck exactly are you rattling on about? Sounds like *fap fap* and nothing more. /thread Devolving Wilds

If there is one thing I have learned from this forum it's that if Snorkle_uk is against it then it's probably a good idea, so I am gonna go ahead and say that the new crafting options are fine.

" its a massive buff to a set of players who were already playing an easy game and needed no buff. The problem they started out with was lower tier players unable to find the gear they needed to play the game properly, and their solution in practice has been to buff the other part of the player base that had no troubles beyond all sense. Sry if that goes over your head, but its a problem. " what, like when the only two people I could see arguing against letting benches have 119% phys damage were Hegemony and me, everyone else was saying "we need over 100% phys or the crafting is useless".... now look at the game and whats happening, we were right. GGG knew we were right, they limited it BELOW what I was saying was a fair amount and even as it stands its crazy powerful and people are smashing up endgame maps with 70% phys damage crafts, just like we said they would. If the only thing youve learned is to discount one of the only people on these forums with sense then that says everything about you and your education tbh. I love all you people on the forums, we can disagree but still be friends and respect each other :)

If you feel the mods are overpowered, don't use, or buy and sell gear containing them.
Worry less about what others have. Problem solved. |

I think you missed the rest of my point.
It's a buff to everybody involved. Sorry if that went over your head. *fap fap* Devolving Wilds

" I think heres where you are wrong for two Reasons. 1.youre valuieng benefit in pure currency made ?! If a new player A hits a brick wall at 70+ maps and can pay vet Player B a bit of currency to craft for him A is not being taken advantage of, its a win:win situation and Player B actually worked beforehand to get that Possibility (grinding masters for two weeks doesnt generate currency itself, and by the time Player B is done, there will be other players done dropping the Prices for all, including Player A This game is no classic mmorpg,it doesnt have some kind of competitive guild vs guild battles or anything, noone cares wether the people who spend all day grinding masters have 500 or 1k exalts in their storage. If people wanna grind currency and sell it for rl cash instead of doing a regular job thats fine with me too. 2.If a new player decides to spent the same amount of time he can actually jump in in the crafting market. Elreon missions are really easy so far, espacially since everyones grouping up to chain missions. So people who are new and willing to invest the same time can join these parties instead of grinding for endgame capability. Side Notes: Thats what i meant earlier with you being addicted in my PoV,thats not an insult, it just means that youre focused on aspects casual gamers dont care about, like who has how much currency ... They all go in the defensive tho and dont really argue with your points bc you condecend them based on irrelevant factors like their playing time (dont know if youre aware of that) I can get your argument between all that ranting but i can just advise you,if youre really interested in discussing the matter stop taking everything personal and antagonizing everyone, this spiral of aggro basically lead to this thread being unreadable and incomprehensive till so takes the time to filter the actual arguments out of it |

" It's power creep. Well, not even creep, more akin to a jump. Single mod crafting works perfectly well though. |

Well don't you also think that there is a huge "jump" in difficulty by act3 merciless, and especially maps, as well. Maybe that jump in gear progression is needed by most people to be able to adjust. Sure it was possible without it, but we have discussed how easy or not it was numerous times. It's a game afterall.
