Oh man its so fucking annoying now.
Lvl 88 whirling blading through low lvl questareas in the hope to find one. Its so boooooooooooooring. Time to add corrupted Zones to Maps like Masters. http://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/1158669

Probably needs it to be level 60, so he can get a midnight.

How many fragments do you really need? First of all, keep in mind that they don't really intend for Atziri to be the primary focus of the game anymore. Secondly, are you using your extra dawn/dusk/noons in the map device to get another corrupted zone to spawn? Seems like those are nearly 100% chance to drop another fragment, so you can chain those for several runs before you get either a vaal gem or a midnight instead. And finally, you can always trade for them too.

NO!Increasing the spawn rate of corrupted zone is bad. Don't want people all running around with atizri acuity would you.

" I am pretty sure GGG had exactly that in mind when the "nerfed" the corrupted zone spawn rate and the Acuity drop rate. In order to get Acuity's you need to run Uber Atziri, and in order to get there you have to run normal Atziri, and in order to do that you need fragments. So expect Acuity's to rise in price, and the same goes for fragments. Still sane exile?

" Midnights are effectively far easier to get due to the increased fragment droprate. Getting fragments from tidal island is a very viable choice because of that. You can chain all those fragments through the map device for a long time. For example when running 10 fragments through the device it is actually very possible to get 10 fragments in return which gives you many more chances to get a midnight. The rarer spawnrate but increased fragment droprate cancel eachother out when it comes to farming corrupted zones. " I am still working on stats for drop rates. Also you have to factor in you have to balance your fragments, and noon is actually a bit rare than dusk/dawn. The chain break when you hit a vaal gem or a midnight, and for the limited data that I have, it looks like successfull conversion from dusk/dawn/noon to midnight is in the 20-25% range (about a 100 runs) Still sane exile?
