Crafting Physical Crit Bow

I spent some time crafting

try get your hands on a ilvl 77 bow so u can get flaring which is the max flat physical you can get

alt the bow till u hit this then regal it or if u alt it + say crit or max ias u can regal also and pray



is what i crafted this way i got very lucky alt flaring + the crit then regaled the 2nd highest phys%

I did the math yesterday and rolling a Flaring with the lowest damage rolls and crafting on the lowest % Physical damage rolls with the "can have multiple crafted mods" will result in at least a 300 pDPS bow. I don't know the numbers off hand, but I know rolling a high % physical and then adding the flat physical and hybrid mod resulted in lower pDPS. You would have to make sure you Regal on a suffix to do the former though.

I think I am going to go for the Wicked by using rare rustic sash route. A ~250dps with a 8%crit will get me started for now. I just may try for something better some time later when I have thousands of alts. Thanks for help.

I see ilvl 77 is the way to go because of flaring. Is ilvl 77 better than ilvl 83 when crafting? I have a ilvl 83 with 50% crit implicit on it that I can't for the life of me get decent rolls on.
