" Because the only requirement GGG placed on being eligible to get a Beta key was registering on the forum. There is no requirement to post (though if you have posted on the forum, you get ten times the chance to be selected as someone who has never posted). If GGG were to disqualify "inactive" forum members, they would be going back on their word, which would be uncool. Also, who defines "inactive"? Some folks aren't comfortable posting on a public forum; other may not feel that they have anything useful to say. But that doesn't mean they aren't lurking, reading the forum without posting.
