Computer Crashes Only When Playing PoE

I have been playing PoE since the release of SotV. Throughout my PoE experience I have experienced an odd crashing problem, which others have mentioned, where my computer essentially locks up, my screen turns black, and I hear a constant rumbling noise. The best I can describe the sound is that it is a looping, "rrrrrrrrrrr" noise. I have to hard reset my computer every I experience this crash. This post http://pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/674210 essentially details the same issue I am having. I am using an Nvidia GeForce GT 435M GPU with a Realtek soundcard. I have searched and tried numerous things with no luck. The issue occurs usually within the first minute of PoE loading, I sometimes cannot load into the game before crashing. I love PoE, but this problem is making it unplayable and the constant hard resetting I am sure is not good for the longevity of my computer.

The steps I have attempted to solve the issue to no avail are as follows:
Clean installation of Windows 7 64-bit (seemingly delays the issue for 2-9 days) with only PoE installed
Clean installation of Path of Exile
Path of Exile launch options: --nosound, --softwareaudio
Windows memory diagnostic tool and http://memtest.org/
MSI GPU stress tests
Installing OpenAL Soft .Dlls to my system32 and syswow64 folders respectively (With and without aforementioned PoE launch options)
Disabling soundcard entirely
Cleaning laptop and reapplying thermal paste to GPU and CPU
Tinkering with in-game video and sound options

This is a PoE specific issue. I have no issues running other games like League of Legends, Hearthstone, World of Warcraft, Dishonored, etc.

Also, I run PoE in administrator mode and I am not experiencing any overheating issues.

Thanks!

Post your Dxdiag.
Make sure your laptop uses your mobile card and not integrated.

I've had a similar issue like 3 times before except that it happened when I have alrady had PoE running for some hours. I think I was playing in a full party at those times and in general there were many effects taking place at once (e.g. in a daily Zana map with "Sea witches and their spawn" + fracture + some guy using spectral throw + gmp + CoC + some spells) which essentially brought the game down to some 3 fps for me.

afterwards the screen froze up with the "rrrrrrr" sound and a bluescreen shortly afterwards.

my pc is only one year old and not exactly a toaster so it cant be too weak for the game.
I suspect that something in PoE causes a buffer overflow or memory leak in the background...
uhm since 1.2 I have an audio glitch involving crit, not 100% sure but it happens always on my split/tornado crit ranger. Never on my arc witch. I had also some black screen, but never bsod. Just all frozen. After a clean install of windows I don't have anymore the black screens but the audio still glitch a lot with the ranger.

Also in general after patch the game seems more cpu intensive :/ and i have a good system :/

Pre 1.2 all fine.

I have the same problem, at least one hard-lock per day.

I have exactly the same problem with my split crit ranger. I tried changing everything relating to audio in Windows, without improvement.

How much RAM do you have? POE uses a huge amount of memory compared to other games and you may just be running out of RAM. This is particularly true if you have other programs running at the same time.
Phrases like "I have problem" "I have the same problem" "My PC is supper cool" dont say anything for developers. To be able to test your problems they need to know exsact PC configuration.
