Beta Invite Timer Gadget [v1.2]

dying to get a key... maybe this gadget will take the pain away somehow...

why do i see people who are not active on the forum get keys?

Sweet game. So guys, how can I get the beta key?

How long do i have to wait for a key?? :(

issues with the timer:

1)it chooses dead accounts I.E.:reg/last visit jul.2011

2)it has after a few days of watching repeatedly posted some account names.

which means regardless of if someone has been picked before and missed it (mostly inactive/dead accounts) the account name gets tossed back into the potential/pool to be drawn again. so completely dead accounts are being repeatedly picked by the randomizer reducing the chance that anyone active has of getting a key.

3) posting in the forum does not give you a 10 times better chance to be picked. since of the accounts who've been picked very few had ANY posts and most certainly not 10 posters;one non-poster [more like the complete opposite actually] if you don't post you seem to have a better chance of being picked according to the hundreds of picks in the last few days I've observed.

There is something odd with the Invite Timer. I regulary check the account of winner profiles and today I see 2 times fresh accounts from today with 0 forum posts get a beta invite.

well most likely a lot of people made dosens of accounts for a higher chance of getting a key...so regardless the people that can get one have a smaller chance just because of this...it's a common tactic

Yeah, they really need to fix the whole dead accounts getting beta keys, because there are a lot of active members who would really want a beta key and dont get one.

Pretty sure that there is no connection with the forums or there is a bug. The majority of account getting a key has 0 post.
