Easy way to compare gear

So this is just a small suggestion, but it can make the biggest difference. After running around, slaying stuff, and getting new gear, i have to determine if the gear is better or not. At times, it almost just seems like a waste of time. I am finding myself clicking and re clicking, reading and re-reading my stats, just to change one piece of gear, and then repeat with all of the others.
Now just a simple way to compare gear (mouse over and show change of stats) or something similair would be awesome. The seemingly endless clicking and reading just for a few bonus stat points seems a bit wasteful of my already limitted time. It could just be more, but i would rather be out slaying stuff then sitting in a spot reading the stats and trying to compare them or memorize the numbers in my head. Anyone else feel the same? Pressing Alt doesn't present any actual values that change though which is what I think OP is about?

Yeah something like that. Just a way to compare stats quickly. People have been telling me to press alt, but that hasnt done anything on any character? Maybe im just doing something completely wrong haha.

2) hover over an item of the same type in your inventory 3) press alt 4) profit What have you become when even nightmares fear you?

Hmmm. I dont kmow if my account is buggy or something, but holding alt doesnt cause any change between what it already shows and what it should show. Is there an option i have to change? This is annoying haha.

All pressing Alt does is bring up the item that is currently equipped right next to the one your viewing.
If you don't see the equipped item's when you hover your mouse over an item and press Alt then maybe log a fault with GGG? |

So far the item that you are comparing to, must be in your inventory.
Pants are for nephalem, we are exiles, we do not need pants.

Yeah my game is bugged then. Looked at videos on youtube, and my alt was doing nothing similair to what theirs was doing. It wouldnt show the piece of gear equipped right next to it or anything similair. That would help a lot with what i was suggesting. Gues im not a complete idiot like i have believed haha. Thanks for the help guys. Will file next time im on.

"Have you rebound the "highlight items and objects" key from Alt to something else? (i.e. the key you hold to make items visible on the ground). If so, hold whatever you rebound that to, Alt is jsut the default. Personally, I use space. |
