What is the maximum a resist ring can have?

There was some debate on global tonight as to what the max resist was that a ring could have. Not the magical stats you would see on blues, yellows and unique but it's base state. I've never seen it go above %30 personally and no one had an answer as to if it couldn't go any higher.

Anyone?

30% is max on the cold, lightning and fire resist rings. 12% is max on the resist all ring.

Think it's 45% and a suffix....

30% is definitely the highest implicit resistance can go (cold/lightning/fire), 12% on Prismatic Rings.

I just found pretty sick resistance ring myself:

Found this tonight, 78% cold and 10% to all.

I ask because I'm contemplating using an orb of scouring and alchemy on it.

30% resist white rings are not rare enough to warrant using a scouring on them (in my opinion).

Just check vendors every time you level, and once a day. I pick up 4L items, 30 health corals, 30 resist rings, and 20 all onyx amulets all the time.

Save scourings for beastly items imo.

I believe prismatic's highest base roll is 12%

I got a 53% cold resist with additional 33% cold resist. But no max hp on it so it's like good but bad.

I hate how there's not something like the arreat summit on this site. Everything you want to know you have to dig up in countless threads that aren't really easy to navigate or have to google it from external sources.
