is there a passive tree optimization program?
The only way such a program could function would be for you to give it target values. Such as, "Given X passive skill points, and starting from Y, return the greatest possible amount of life."
At that point, at least as a brute force method - there might be better ways - the program would simply have to enumerate every possible set of paths and then present the one that does that. It could take a long time to calculate. And you'd be left with a build that only had the highest possible amount of life. It might be quite unplayable due to other issues. However. If I already have a build in place that's relatively well balanced, could import that, and then do the same thing again - giving it 5 or 10 more points to play with - I can see that as being useful. Just not when it comes to creating a completely new character from scratch. (Unless it would just be a "fun" tool to play with that might give you an idea you hadn't thought of.) |

" The name of the build is very clearly Dual Totem Tornado Shot. So his assumption is obviously that the totems can miss so he took accuracy. I've never used Range Attack Totem so I am not sure if they have a chance to miss but it's not as big a 'wtf moment' as you are having. |

" It looks like YOU don't know that much about builds... if you pay the due attention to the tree, it's a CRIT build aiming to use iron grip; that's why accuracy is needed and str as well. |

Yeah it's called your brain, optimize it and think.
A program couldn't exist because it wouldn't know what exactly you would want to do and there would be way too many variables and branches coming off an build with ton of variations. |
