my current Rathpith

now if i were to get a Rathpith with the implicit +1 to socketed gems and the stats:
60% of Block Chance applied to Spells
40% increased Spell Damage
10% increased maximum Life
135% increased Energy Shield

i would be losing 17% Spell damage, but gaining the +1 to enhance(which make it enhance level 5 gem) does that increase my damage or is the 17% loss of spell damage to high of a loss for the level 5 enhance gem with blood magic and blood rage to benefit?
