Block Chance or Block Recovery more important?

Or you can grab the nicely available keystone "unwavering stance" and never worry about block recovery ever again?

Since it's a stun related recovery I assume it works.

But yes, good point about the analysis. I was thinking with HP tanked out nicely mob swarms wouldn't get enough stun potential on you to matter. But yeah that doesn't pan out late game I'm sure.
As I said, if you are going the IR/US route, your best sheilds are either the "Scarlet" Rounds, or the High Block Tower(ie "Rawhide", "Painted", "Wardoor", although if you don't really care about blocking and just want armour, be my guest and get the "Steel" Tower Sheild)

Thanks for the Anlysis, will definitly take that in account for the build plans.
yea according to the wiki, since unwavering stance not only makes you stun immune, it removes the stunned animation all together. and blocking uses the same stun animation apparently so you dont get block stunned. so yes unwavering stance makes it so you dont need block recovery

but keep in mind that with unwavering stance, you dont have evasion no more, so your taking all the damage from unblocked attacks, so getting higher block chance becomes a prime stat to avoid many of the elemental weapon attacks which happens to not get affected by armor.

so those are your pros and cons and hopfully that'll help with the decision process

Quick question from a noob, whats the IR/US combo? :)
Iron Reflexes/Unwaivering Stance Keystone Combo. Basically Iron Reflexes converts all your Evasion to Armor, leaving you with the base 5% evasion stat, and Unwaivering Stance makes you immune to stuns and block stuns at the cost of not being able to Evade.

Basically since you preety much can't evade anything anyway with IR, and both Keystones are easily within reach for a Duelist, it is usually a good idea to pickup US if you pickup IR.
Thanks :)
Wish I knew, everytime I get something with high % it turns out being vendor trash. But meh on my first toon I vendored GOLD and used the most prized item in the game early on. Yep I blew a Mirror at level 8 on a level 5 Rare Sword... I did not know any better and I found a few rare necks later on my duelist with over 60% Mana Regin and Max Mana and vendored them among other embarrassing mistakes before researching. I like looking at these threads.
