What's the best spell to freeze enemies?
I'm trying to make a build using freeze as crowd control. I don't know, though, which spell would work best as a way to freeze enemies, without worrying about using as the main damage dealer in the build.
IMO, the main options are: 1; Cold Snap: now has a 30% chance to freeze at all levels, a nerf considering how it did reach higher changes. 2; Freezing Pulse: has a chance to freeze, but the game doesn't state what it is (assuming that it is any higher than the raw chance given by cold damage). 3; Ice Spear: the secondary explosion has a very high crit chance, which should freeze most enemies, but the skill has no inherent chance to freeze beyond the raw one from cold damage. 4; Artic Breath: creates frozen gound to freeze enemies. Ignoring damage dealt and focusing on trying to freeze enemies, what is the best option? |

Freeze Mine. It always freezes if you make it past the 300ms threshold.
If the mine laying mechanisms bothers you use trap - cold snap - concentrated effect - elemental proliferation. |
