Forsaken master spawn rate

Grinding is always bad.

Oh man... Are you in the wrong place. You do know that the company that makes this game is called Grinding Gear Games.

I love it! Hahahaha

What's really fucked up is running over 400 78 maps and not even a single level 7 master.

Elreon is fairly close, but the rest? Eh, first quarter of level 6.

It's pretty pathetic that grinding 78s (masters motivated me to try and level) is yielding less reputation than farming Tidal.

I understand the frequency of encounters make up for this, but damn, if I wasn't so close to level 98 (having ground out 2 levels so far since FM), I would quit. The master spawn rate is jack shit in higher maps, just not worth it.

Strand. Gorge. Tidal. Ledge/Mud Flats perimeter.

Should've had a V8. Bonk.

masters rep xp is tied to the zonelevel you encounter the master
here are some merci/maps values

lv52 = 2166xp
lv59 = 2770xp
lv62 = 3129xp
lv67 = 3828xp
lv71 = 4492xp

doing masters in normal gives you couple hundred xp so you are wise to do 60+ zones / map runs only if you plan on leveling them to 6-8
The real problem with the system is that it doesn't take into account the character level, at all. So while doing a quest that's challenging for a character, you get the same reward as doing the quest with an extremely overleveled over powered character. It's not like Exp, where a higher level character isn't rewarded the same as a lower level character.

Rep needs to factor in character level. A level 30 character, doing a level 30 quest, should get comparable rep to a level 70 character doing a level 70 quest.

I agree,it's fair but only if it has a cap somewhere around lvl65 ( as loot drop) , otherwise a player with a high lvl char and no high lvl maps - due to bad RNG etc...- is left with the only option to reroll, and that can be really boring expecially if you're forced to.
