Razer footprints

Some ground skins/textures leave the footprints on (until area re-entered). Not the green Razer logo print, just the boot/foot print.
Do all other footprint effects leave those? I haven't bought any footprint effects so I can't tell. Anyway to me it feels like running around in house with muddy shoes leaving dirty steps everywhere.
